Sanding sleeve dimension converter
Convert sanding sleeve diameter and height between inches and millimeters. Keep exact measurements visible without assuming nominal sizes are equivalent.
Use converted dimensions as evidence, not fit approval
Convert diameter and abrasive height separately, preserving the unit published by the manufacturer or seller. A rounded metric label can differ from the exact inch conversion, and two sleeves with the same nominal diameter can still use different heights. Record the original dimension beside the converted result so a later parts search does not replace the source value.
Complete compatibility also depends on the rubber drum or direct-mount spindle, washer, retaining hardware, throat insert, abrasive construction and model revision. Use the sleeve-size finder for documented machine records, then confirm the current manufacturer part reference before ordering. This converter only removes unit arithmetic from that larger check.

Belt + spindle
combo · 4.5 in sleeve height
The 6524 combines spindle sanding with a 4-by-24-inch belt, useful when one station must handle concave profiles and straight edges. Its documented spindle speed is 2000 RPM; the much higher motor RPM is a different measurement.

Spindle sander
spindle · Sleeve height not confirmed
Six documented sleeve diameters, from 1/2 through 3 inches, give the fixed-table 6510T a wider upper diameter than WEN's AT6535. Choose by the curves and supported workpiece height, and keep replacement sleeve length separate from that height limit.
